  Service was very slow and the hostess was not accurate on the wait time. They told us 20 minutes which ended up being 35+, not a huge deal. After being seated, we waited about 8 minutes before a server stopped at the table. Our waitress was very cordial and explained the history of the place. Due to being behind schedule already, we opted to put drinks and food in at the same time. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time but after that, the waitress was absent and drinks ran out. The food quality was decent. I wasn't expecting St. Elmo's quality steak due to the prices being decent. Contrary to previous reviews, the steak was the size I expected when ordering. The salad bar was fresh and full and my wife's food met her expectations.
  
  We will likely visit again and it was obvious that the issues listed above was a people issue. The waitress had a great personality and was friendly but the quality and promptness of service was lacking. The hostesses could be trained better in the wait times. I'm aware that these will never be able to be 100% accurate but within 3-4 minutes can be learned.
  
  Cleanliness seemed satisfactory and the store layout and decor was nice. The curb appeal gives the impression of an upper middle scale restaurant and the end impression is a middle scale.

  Love the salad bar. They make their own salads, very few do that. Loved the cheese corn bake side. Nice atmosphere, clean. Nice, attentive wait staff. Plan on retuning.

  Had a great meal and wonderful salad bar..the onion soup is very good. Our waitress was Kimberly and she was terrific!
